August 2009

I found this toy at a yard sale & Christian loves it. It's supposed to help him learn his ABC's & numbers. He really just likes to dance to the music.

Sometimes Christian walks around with a laundry basket on his head.

A day at the zoo with Leah & Kendall. The Louisville Zoo is really great, complete with splash park which we thoroughly enjoyed. For more pics from this event visit Leah's blog HERE.
Please excuse my finger in the above shot.

Christian helped me bake banana bread by licking the bowl! A boy after his G-Momma's heart.
Since I use this blog as a baby book, here's how Christian is doing these days.
  • can recognize numbers 1-10 (we're working on 11 & 12)
  • can recognize blue, green, yellow (his favorite we think), pink, purple, orange, red & black
  • asks for milk with a very country twang
  • loves to play ring-around-the-rosie
  • trying to learn to sit through story time at the mall
  • very picky eater
  • frequent discipline for hitting his parents & throwing objects
  • asked me to carry him the other day at 2 different times & when I picked him up he put his head on my shoulder & said "I love you" without any prompting at all
  • loves, loves, loves to operate elevators
  • really enjoys the kiddie pool at the seminary
