We've had a lot going on in the last couple of weeks, starting with Georgia walking! Grandma Resa took some video of her last weekend, but we're having trouble downloading video to blogger. Sorry. She walks everywhere now & stands up on her own without needing to pull up on anything. She is currently very anti-shoes, though. That is somewhat troublesome at parks & playgrounds. She will also answer "uh-huh" to just about any question you ask her which is incredibly cute. She babbles very sweetly & animated.
On July 22nd our family life changed a bit when we said goodbye to the truck. Andrew was in a car wreck but was not injured at all & neither was the other driver. Glory to God. But the truck was totaled. Being a one-car family is somewhat tricky & irritating when you have to cart children places you don't want to or don't get to go to places you do. But today the Lord provided us with another vehicle, the very kind I've been wanting for awhile & off Craig's List of all places! Introducing our Honda Odyssey!

We feel as though we got good information from the seller & got advice from a trusted mechanic back home. We were somewhat nervous buying such a big purchase from someone unknown, but Andrew immediately took it for an oil change & so far everything looks good. We have prayed over our new car today, asking that it would be reliable for us as the Camry & Tacoma have always been & that this vehicle would help us serve the Lord. Now bring on the visitors cuz no more cramming in our backseat between 2 car seats! Christian's favorite features would be the DVD player & automatic fob doors.
In other news, Andrew & I celebrated our 6th anniversary last weekend thanks to great babysitting help from Grandpa Troy & Grandma Resa. We just spent a night over the river due to a small budget but ate at awesome restaurants on the riverfront & saw a drive-in movie for the first time!
We also said goodbye to our pastor & his family last Sunday, the day before they moved to Mississippi. We miss them tremendously & pray for our church as we look for a new pastor.
We did take pictures of these events, but we're having some internet problems on the other computer where all those pictures are saved. I'll continue to work on it.
