Here is Abby's response, which I think was well-stated:
I get really defensive with blanket statements like this because every family’s journey with ADHD and education is different. I’m happy to share our story and decision to have our son take Adderall and why we’re happy with it. Also, having worked with patients on real homemade meth, I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. Calling legally prescribed stimulants “meth” only makes parents feel guilty.
