Ear Check

Here's some pictures of the aftermath of Christmas celebration with my Dad. We pretty much gave up on Christian getting a nap at his normal time that day. He ran around until he absolutely crashed on my dad's lap.

We went to the doctor today to have Christian's ears checked to make sure the last antibiotic cleared his ear infection. They were clear! No referral to an ENT yet. But...this doctor is still concerned about Christian's communication skills. She suggested a visit from a service that I can't remember the name of that would come to our home, watch us interact with Christian, & give us some advice on teaching him to communicate better. She said someone would call to set this up. I know absolutely nothing else. We agreed because it's free.

He was also weighed on the big boy scale in the hallway at the doctor's office. I really don't think it's a very accurate weight cuz he wouldn't stand still, but it was 22 lbs & 2 oz. He's 31 1/2 inches long, growing steady. His molars are coming in on the top. They've broken through the gums & so far he's handling it great. He's running around everywhere. If he's awake he's on the move. He got a "Your Baby Can Read" DVD for Christmas & tonight when I said some of the motion words on the DVD he did the motion! It was so cute. He really is learning a lot. We're not too concerned about his communication right now. We're enjoying all the new toys he got for Christmas. We're all doing great!

I'm just working 2 days per week & maintaining our home. Andrew is plugging away at UPS. He made great grades last semester & spring semester starts the end of this month. He also got a job as a grader with one of the professors which he is super excited about & will be great experience for him. Trying to get closer & closer to the classroom in a non-student role! He's also co-teaching our Sunday School series on Romans. We're all doing great. We welcome visitors anytime!
