Update

Well, Dwight has received three rounds of chemo this week, the last one being yesterday. That's all the chemo he'll get for now. He's staying in the hospital until his white blood cell count is up. He's feeling much better since he got an anti-nausea patch to wear behind his ear. I got to do a video call with them yesterday on Skype. Very cool. He's become buddies with another patient on his floor. If you know Dwight this is not surprising. Mom has been staying with him 24/7, such an example of faithful wifely love. I believe they will celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary the 25th of this month. I'm headed to Georgia on Sunday & will be there till Thursday.

Christian was evaluated by First Steps this morning. Result: he's fine. She said he's definitely on the slow end of normal, but is totally normal & does not need their services. She gave me some tips on things to do with him to get him to point more. This is an important part of language development & Christian doesn't do it very often. So we are very pleased & proud of our son. I better go get him now that he's awake from his nap.

Have I mentioned that I'm terrible with a camera?

Abby, I am so shocked. I just saw Dwight and your mom a few weeks ago at Bret and Anna's shower at Greg and Cynthia's! Crazy how life can change in the blink of an eye. I am praying for you and them as you all handle this scary situation. I know the Lord will provide you with the grace you need and He will walk with each of you as He wraps His loving arms around you. PLEASE let me know if I can do anything to help!
Love you!

Any word on Dwight? Jennie hasn't given me any news lately.
