Still Expecting

This was yesterday morning about 6:15 before I went to work for the last time before starting maternity leave. I thought to put this up after talking to my mom some this week & realizing my parents haven't seen me in person in over a month. So, parents, here's what I've been looking like day in & day out (in scrubs, anyway). It's been fun this week to walk into patients' rooms & have them ask me when I'm due. "Sunday," I reply, and a real look of shock appears on their face. They finally feel sorry for me & don't ask me to help them with their bedpans as much. Some still do & that's OK. I've been very thankful to be training a new nurse the past couple of weeks & letting her do most of the running around while I've helped more with the mental side of nursing. Tina's first day by herself will be Monday & she's going to do great.

Just waiting now.

Hey Abby!!!!
You look fantastic! :)
I am so happy for you and Andrew...little boys are THE BEST!
Enjoy your time "off" before the baby...and relish having him so close to you these last few days/weeks. Being pregnant is truely precious.

Thanks, Tiffany! I read your account of your friend in TX having her little boy the other day & it was very encouraging. I also think about your telling of Hannah's birth a lot for encouragement. I've enjoyed being pregnant & felt great the whole time, but I'm getting pretty uncomfortable & ready for him to come any day!
